Weddington Road Bark Park

Finally went to this amazing dog park I found whilst on my way to Petco. It’s HUGE, seriously one of the largest I’ve ever seen. There are these beautiful wooded areas and rolling hills covered with the softest grass you can imagine. It’s perfect for dogs to run around and explore. Plus, there’s a really cool obstacle course that keeps them entertained and active. I love that there’s plenty of shade with lots of seats around, so you can relax while your furry friend plays. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough—it’s perfect for both dogs and their humans!

Beautiful area for dogs to play in, recently closed to allow grass to grow back and so much nicer because of it. The park features a separate yard for dogs under 20lbs, but both yards have shaded benches to sit, plenty of grass, and the restroom is central to both the parks and parking. Friendly locals often show up in the afternoons.

Another dog took my dog’s air tag off her collar. We didn’t notice until that night at home. When we looked on the app for the air tag it was at the park. Next day we go to get it and someone had taken it! We drove right to the person’s house by following the air tag app! That’s where I was cussed at by the thief and she threw the air tag at me because I dared to ask for my air tag!!! I’ll give you her address!!!!! Tapestry Court! In Charlotte! She needs to stay out of our Concord dog park!

Big side of the park is nothing but mud and rocks. Pretty aggressive dogs when we arrived and didn't stay 10 minutes. It sucked. The rest of the park looked nice enough and maintained.

Great dog park! It's right next to a Greenway and a playground. They have a large and small dog play area which are separated. The park has plenty of parking, restrooms, dog poop stations with bags, and water for the dogs. No fee to get in, just come and use this park!
