Wegman's Good Dog Park

ZERO ⭐ stars for the humans that don't clean up after their dog!! There are huge signs posted everywhere to clean up after your dog, as well as large boxes with visible poop bags available. Yet there is poop everywhere inside the fenced area and around/outside/on the roads approaching it. Once I walked into the fenced in area and saw the multiple piles of poop, we left. Disgusting!! Very unfortunate as the fenced dog area is nice with plenty of secure fence, and obstacles for the dogs to play on. Wegmans may want to give this some attention since their name is on it.

We are visiting for vacation and found this gem ❤️ Super spacious, lots of structures to climb and navigate for the dogs. Water provided. We were here for a few hours because our pup was having such a great time. A lot of dogs came within those few hours, probably 10!

It is a decent size but not well maintained. It is also clear the people using it do not pick up after their dogs. A real shame, we are new to the area (from the Midwest) and used to well-maintained dog parks.

A spacious, fully fenced in area where we can let our dogs off leash and play with the other pooches. We never have a problem here unless the park police want to rain on everyone’s parade by demanding proof of vaccines. Ours are up to date but we don’t carry around their paperwork so we always have to leave. This is inconvenient as we live in Jefferson county. Still though, driving an hour and a half is worth it because of how secure the fence is, and the fact that there are always dogs here to play with. My only critique is that they should not turn the water off when summer ends. Many owners still bring their dogs here during the winter so we can watch our dogs frolic in the snow.

Great park. If you have never been to a dog park before please read up before going to avoid potential conflicts. (i.e. how to enter, who is allowed, play vs non play, etc) great in all weather
