I take my dog to the dog park and the big dog area has gone downhill with dogs digging and maintenance not filling or posting signage. I also have been using the new Pickleball courts and even got a membership so I can reserve courts. The City is making improvements hope they can fix the dog parks.

I bring my jack Russell here all the time. It’s a great dog park. It’s split between little dogs and big dogs. There’s three water fountains for dogs to be able to drink Wow rest rooms Yeah, he sounds like for you when you leave and everything is enclosed and enclosed inside the second fence, so the dogs can’t run away. Great open area for family friends, and your dog to get out and run rules are posted inside and outside for dog owners. Make sure and bring bags to pick uo your poop.

City of El Cajon latest and greatest public pickleball venue. Individually fenced courts. 4 open play, 1 challenge/reserve able court. Lights come on gradually before you notice its even dark. Super clean, new and nice. They have lots of parking and bathrooms. I posted the rules and hours in photos. No court monitor so good luck with the frey. If you want to reserve courts join the Parks and Rec Pro pickleball membership for a low price for a year membership. Then you can log into their reservation system and reserve courts upto 7 days in advance. You can reserve 1 court a day. It is very popular so be sure to get on there at Midnight 7 days in advance and best of luck because it is practically impossible now to reserve regular court hours. The same people have reservations everyday.

This place is amazing and very clean! So beautiful and the dogs loved it. So many people are here in the mornings it’s fun getting to know everyone and the dogs play like crazy the dog park is so big and all dogs are off leash so they can run and play together.

Wells Park, located in El Cajon now has a new public pickle ball venue! Facility consists of five fenced courts; four for open play and one court that is reserve able via the paid membership app. Very clean courts with restroom adjacent. Lots of benches, parking, shade clothes, water and bottle filler. Very small shop but does have cold water and Gatorade along with a few snacks available for purchase. If you want to reserve court the one court you will need to join via the Parks and Rec Pro pickle ball membership for an annual membership. Big plus is the lights at night. Courts are open from 8:00 am to 9:00pm.
