West Hartford Dog Park

This is my first time coming to this dog park it does have two sides one size for large dogs one side for small dogs. It is very muddy right when you walk in the entrance but they do have some type of plastic put down to prevent it from getting worse there is a picnic bench here and on the small side there is also another picnic bench. There are two large trees which will provide shade in the summertime. This dog park is pretty hidden it took me two times to find it it is behind a school. I had to drive around the back and then you will see the parking lot. When I came here there was three people and five dogs and I got here about 2:00. If you are interested in dog parks and you like going to them I would at least check this park out you may like it you may not.

This is a great park hidden away in West Hartford. If you’ve got your dog there with you, you should check it out. My one critique is, they should put the trashcan inside of the fence. A porta potty would be great, but that might be pushing it a bit.

!!!!!WOW!!!!! WHAT AN INCREDIBLE HIDDEN GEM!! This is a spectacular place to plan fun and affordable outing! Whether you're a single dog owner, a couple of dog parents or a family with kids and dogs like ours. This place is it. It is somewhat secluded and a little tricky to find. There are seperate sections to accommodate dogs both large and small. But wait here comes the part. There is a pool!! A pool!! The pool is newer with the touch technology to turn on the overhead fountains. The pool is just through an open gate on the opposite side of the bushes. There is more though! There is also a great cookout area!! All of the facilities are clean and kept. Can you tell that we liked it. Lol!

Fun and convenient place to let your dog run around freely and in a safe environment.

Nice and big , plenty of room to run , mulch was a little thin it could be very muddy depending on the weather.
