I live on 6200 south in Kearns. I\nJust witnessed these four gentlemen , blowing leaves out into and across the street into homeowners yards on 6200 S around 215 pm or so. I mean, I get it.It was a little bit of a windy day, but just found it kind of rude that they're supposed to be doing their job and they just blew it into the street so that they didn't have to deal with it themselves. Prett.\nY straightforward, how to pass the buck along\nHow to get paid for doing nothing?\nNow , all the homeowners have to deal with it. We\nPick it up.They get paid for it shame West Jordan

The most arrogant and non-community oriented city department you can imagine. Despite multiple attempts and avenues to contact them, would not return calls or even respond via the contractors or any other channels. Complete stonewall. A new park is being built adjacent to my back yard. Every house except mine has a white vinyl fence bordering the property line. They need a fence on my boundary too. And I agree. But they insist on only BLACK CYCLONE fencing. Which of course looks horrible in the middle of all the other white vinyl fences. I offered to put up a fence the matches the rest of the neighborhood - at my expense. I talked to the fencing sub-contractor. He could put up white vinyl at no extra cost. The park building contractor informed them of all of this and advised that the park would look better with the white vinyl. Despite the good sense of putting up white vinyl, and the horribly bad decision to put up black cyclone, this department arrogantly refuses to even talk about it to anyone. Please think about such a department when voting. Please vote out such arrogance. Finally got a call after this post. The engineer explained that the cyclone fence is the engineers choice for longevity. That I get. But why then is my lot the ONLY LOT that will have a the chain link fence. If they were really concerned (instead of just arrogant) they would put the chain link all along the park instead of singling out my one lot. In reality they are accepting the vinyl fences (which have been in place 20 years and still look great) everywhere but my lot. Again... These people have no intrest for the public's concerns. They do not belong in a public position. Please vote against such arrogance.

The parks don't seem to be kept up like other city parks. They need to focus on making parks safe and clean for kids and families.
