West Mill Creek Park

My Boston Terrier Looooooooves this park. We first discovered it when we came to Gladwyne from New York City for my father’s funeral 6 years ago. Watching my little guy running around the park off leash having so much fun it was probably the only happy moment I had during a very sad week. Two years ago, we moved to Philly into the northern liberties neighborhood and we still drive out to West Mill Creek Park once a month because he loves it so much. The dog tail are always friendly and the owners are responsible and friendly as well if you’re ever remotely close to the area and you have a dog who can handle being off the leash this place is an absolute must visit.

Love this park! Perfect size for any dog to explore off leash, or if you're dogless it's still great for an easy and scenic hike! The trails are very well maintained and the creek is great for cooling off.

An amazing off-leash park — if your dog has excellent recall. But not entirely fenced in; last time we visited, a dog crossed the stream and ended up in the road on the other side. It eventually returned safely, but there were some very stressful moments.

Beautiful spot to go and your dog can run around without a leash. The water streams was so relaxing. Definitely the place to got, peaceful experience

Aside from being a great spot for dogs, West Mill Creek Park is a lovely green space that offers a quiet respite from the hustle and bustle of the city. There are plenty of trees, benches, and picnic tables throughout the park, making it a great spot for a picnic or a relaxing afternoon in the sun. The park is well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful. There are plenty of garbage cans throughout the park, which makes it easy to keep the area clean and tidy. Overall, West Mill Creek Park is a wonderful spot to spend an afternoon with your dog, and I highly recommend it to any dog owner in the Philadelphia area.
