I’ve been meaning to write a review for West Dog. When I moved into the area I was interested in maybe finding a place to board my dog..cause I travel for work. That is if the flight is too long for my dog Nina. Walking through the neighborhood my dog would always look in the windows and try to get into West Dog. She was not socialized and was like 5 months old. I decided to let them do a temperance test..and the rest is history! The people at West Dog really socialized my dog..taught her to sit..cause I couldn’t lol. I board her there..and take her to daycare. The people that work here genuinely love animals..and care for them like they’re their own. My dog can’t walk past the door without pulling to go in. West Dog has become her second home. Not enough space to say all the good things I’d like about this place and the people who care for my dog. I highly recommend West Dog..mostly cause I drop Nina off and never worry about her well being. I know she’s safe and loved.
We have been going to the doggie bar and doggy daycare as well as boarding for several years now this is an amazing facility. The staff are equally as amazing my dog, Captain Ori McFlurry, a fun loving French bulldog gets so excited when he knows we’re going to visit West dog.
Our dog Dave loves his visits at West Street Dog. He enjoys being out playing all day with other dogs instead of in a cage by himself. The staff gives personalized attention and are trained to handle any situation. It is definitely reassuring for his family to know he is getting such great care when they are away.
Really cute indoor dog park/bar in Raleigh! You must pay to enter and your dog needs to be up to date on vaccines. Staff are really friendly and the drinks were great. Shoutout to Tim (the bartender) for being so welcoming and taking good care of us. It’s a dog park so it doesn’t smell great, but they do a decent job at keeping the place as clean as possible. Highly recommend!
My Shih Tzu just had his first day of daycare at West St, and he came back in a very good mood and totally exhausted, so I know he had a lot of fun playing with his new friends today. He has attended small dog play time at West St before and the staff is really friendly and the indoor dog park gave him major zoomies.
