Large dog park is usually clean. Ample dog waste bags available. The parking area needs some tidying up. I've not used the playground but see kids having fun there.

Very fun and interactive park, always pretty busy so definitely a great place to socialize while your kids play, the playground is a ton of fun for the kids. They have a huge dog park where your pets can run free in a gated area. They have a soccer field that is maintained. They usually have a guy with a cart on the weekends selling all kinds of snack so it's a great place all around for anyone. The only negative thing I have to say about it is people tend to litter too much so there is trash randomly throughout the park.

This was a really good park. Lots of swings, big kid and baby. This park also had the most swings for those with disabilities (3). They had two jungle gyms, a big kid and a little kid. Only part of the equipment was covered by two very tiny canopies. Lots of covered picnic tables and benches. Lots of open grassy spaces. A dog park (not pictured). It even had a basketball court. Lots of parking space as well. The only thing I would say this park needs (besides bathrooms!) are big canopies to cover the swings and jungle gyms so they don't get so hot from the sun that they burn little arms and legs.

UPDATE Dec 2025: They fixed the basketball rim! and added new nets. The new cloth nets got shredded fast, though. The loops fall out of the rim too easily. Wish list would be: durable nets, a fence around the court, and repaved parking lot. Otherwise solid park, thanks ABQ Parks Dept ---------- I like this park. Really appreciate the new metal nets they put up on the basketball court in June 2025, but it only took a few weeks for both to be busted! Awful playing experience. The far rim is severely bent and needs to be replaced. The rest of the park is well kept most of the time. Occasionally I will see broken glass, debris and trash, but usually not for more than a few days. Parking lot is rough. Once I saw some guys park, smoke weed and bump loud music, but most people have been considerate in my experience. Too much fireworks debris at the park after July 4th. Will update with more stars if the rims and nets get fixed!

I come to this Dog park everyday. It’s Big plus it has a big Grass field to walk around and a play area. It’s also great for birthday parties or barbecues with a lot of covered picnic areas. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is because a lot of people tend to leave their trash and sometimes it gets really messy with trash around the area.
