My dog Sunshine LOVES the Westlake Village dog park. It's my favorite dog park as well. There's a human drinking fountain and a dog drinking fountain. There are benches in the sun and tables with seating in the shade. It's on the smaller side, but still plenty big enough for dogs to run and fetch. The entrance is secure. There's a separate side for smaller dogs, so they don't get scared or run over by the bigger dogs (like my golden). It's a newer dog park, and the location is great! Plus everyone we've met there has been really nice, humans and dogs alike. Just a tip: there have been a couple of times that we've gone and the park has been unexpectedly closed.

Great place to socialize your furry friend. It has a section for small dogs and a section for big dogs. Parking permitted for 2 hours at the doors of the park

Good spot with some shade and seating if needed. Water and waste bags available. Responsible dog owners seem prevalent. Separated small and big dog areas!

Awful. I wouldn’t even call it a park. It’s tiny and poorly maintained. Mostly mud. Also full of aggressive dogs and irresponsible owners who do nothing about it. We stayed for 5 minutes and had enough.

The park itself has come together nicely and the grounds are kept neat and clean. The accurate hours are: 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, except during the months of June, July, August, and September when the Park shall be open between the hours of 7:00 am and 7:00 pm. The dog park will be closed during maintenance and as necessary for turf protection and during inclement weather. The dog park will be closed on Mondays from 7:00 to 11:00 am for weekly maintenance. The annual work on the park and closures are scheduled for early November and early June for about 15 days.
