This place is dog heaven! My pups absolutely love it here! The park features wide open space with several trails that I would describe as easy. The views are incredible and the terrain is mostly flat making it accessible for those with wheelchairs and or stollers. There are several cacti off the trail so be careful if your pups runs off the path. Also, the parking lot does seem to fill up on the weekends. Overall, I highly recommend this awesome park!

A beautiful place to go walking with your pups in nature, off leash! I have been going to this field for the last 20 years and it just never looses its calming effect on me. Yes there are rattle snakes and bull snakes and coyotes, but as long as you respect the land and the rules of the park you and your dog(s) will be safe. My only upset when I'm here; 1. people that don't pick up their dogs poo and 2. ppl that do pick it up but toss the poo right back on the ground in a poo bag and leave it. As if that is better than leaving the poo there. Ppl need to just do better!

I've been coming here multiple times a week for 20 years and its easily the best dog-friendly spot in Colorado. My dogs love it! It's vast, clean, and fun in all weather. There's 100 acres of open land and it's not entirely fenced—Your dogs must have good recall to come here!

This is my dog's happy place! I am so glad that it has been kept as an off leash area, rather than boxed in as just another dog park. I love that I can hike while my dog gets to stretch her legs and run. The views are amazing and my dog has had all positive interactions with other dogs. I do wish they would invest in trail maintenance and another bridge or three over the canal would be a big improvement. I usually go on Mondays or early in the morning, when parking is plentiful, but the weekend can be difficult. Do NOT park in the neighborhood.

I just found this open-space, off-leash, dog park and I am astounded at how great it is. I’ve only been twice and walked over 2 miles each time and still haven’t touched all the trails & possibilities. No matter how busy the park is, I can still find a trail that is away from the crowd. Everyone has been so friendly and responsible. I also found the most incredible business there in the parking lot where he sells bones and broth and treats that he processes himself. And he’s right in Broomfield. Fantastic find!
