The west-side open reserve needs better maintenance/ security due to tagging in the hill areas minor trash in the walk ways. The park has a open close hours/dates but if there's no one to enforce it why bother having operating hours. Please add markers where people can climb yes they have a map in one spot and people enter the area in multiple ways and will probably see it last. again because they don't have signs and if you find a path and someone else sees you they will follow you even if you want to be alone. you will be bothered.
It is a great family place, the early walks, escalation of the hills is a great experience and free of cars contamination. I walk for several years 1 hour in the Reed street, but now it is just too much contamination and when i found this Park it is just a diamond in middle of the street; it enhanced my motivation to increase my daily activity up to more than 2 hours each day and thus resulting in benefits for my health, i haven't see snaks, only a couple Coyotes that keep away from you. The installations for several sports for kids are great to practice soccer, softball and some other sports, great facilities for dogs to make excersise as well..it is a fantastic area that is enjoyed by all ages.
Great place for short hikes. They have a recreation center, play ground, water area, skate area, dog park, open areas and baseball park. It's surprising how much there is to do in one location. It's very clean and well maintained by the city. At times it's hard to get in and out of the parking area by the rec center and dog park side because folks park along the curb instead of in the parking spaces.
Perfect area to walk around in, great for hiking beginners or just a place to de stress located in the West side.
Nice place in town to go hiking, see some birds and enjoy the views of El Paso and the Franklin Mountains.
When Google exported structured hours, they’re surfaced here instead of being buried in the raw payload.
Embedded map view for quick orientation before visitors head out.
