My kiddos love the park. Just wish there was a few more things in the park.

Honestly, I was a little iffy based on some of the photos, but in person, it's quite nice! We went to enjoy the Storybook Trail, so we ended up taking a mini tour. The walking path is interesting and reasonably well-shaded, the pavilions are kept up, and there's a decent play structure. The playground equipment could use some cleaning, but it seemed otherwise in good condition. I recommend checking it out!

This is a small park with a playground area and has a covered shelter with picnic tables and a covered shelter that is empty. There are no restrooms and parking area is small, but street parking is available on other side of park. The downside of this park is there are often drugs being bought/sold in the parking lot and people getting high in their cars. This is a huge safety issue. I go to walk my very large dog and carry protection with me for safety. I haven’t been harassed by any of the dealers/users, but I believe it’s because I mind my business and they mind theirs, and like I said my dog is huge. I go often enough I’d say 7/10 times people are doing drug related activities in the tiny parking lot. I even found a little baggie of pills tied off into the corner of a sandwich bag the other day that I disposed of in their garbage can because I didn’t want to just leave it on the ground for some animal or kid to find.

Some man that seems to be a regular was aggressive and called us names for not parking correctly. Keep in mind that this park is pretty shabby and the parking lot is crumbling. It would be difficult to park correctly when the lines haven't been painted in decades and the lot should have been repaved several years ago. No one was there. This park needs to be redone or closed permanently. Take your kids somewhere else. There is 1 portapotty in the whole park.

It’s a beautiful park but WOMEN!!! Do NOT come here alone with your children. Make sure you have someone with you bc it is not safe to be here alone! My friends and I have gone here together multiple times and there’s been a few sketchy situations where we didn’t feel safe
