Wetherby park brings the country into the city with excellent equipment and amazing opportunities for exercise and play. The newly updated playground features a large variety of climbing, swinging, and exploring options for the 10-and-under crowd. Older kids and adults will enjoy the two and a half basketball courts, the paved loop for running and biking, and the disc golf course. There is a field for soccer, a new (2021) restroom, a good sized pavilion, and a seasonal splash pad! This park is a great stop if you live in town, or just want to stretch your legs when you’re driving through.

Great place to jog. Half gravel, half hardtop path. Nice frisbee golf course too!

Splash pad is super fun. Lovely quick 9 holes of disc golf. Beautiful views.

We were impressed with the size of the park and the number of things to do there. My 5 year old had a blast playing on the playground as well as at the splash pad. A bus of summer camp kids showed up, and you could tell that every one of them had a blast. I would highly recommend based on those things alone. The only negative was all the trash and kids' clothing laying around when we arrived. Whoever had been there previously didn't grab their clothing or use the garbage.

Needs another shelter. NEEDS at least one more bathroom. And the one that's there STINKS. More ventilation needed. More cleaning needed. Recycle bins needed. And PLEASE get some shade over that playground!
