Love this hike with my dog! Expect some incline but just enough to get a good view of the bay. You can also see a lot of wildlife if you go at the right times.

Great place to hike. Took our dog and backpack full of water and snacks. Make sure you keep out for ticks ! Once we got back to the car I had 2 on me. Nothing on our dog thank god. But the sights are beautiful. There’s parts of the trails where you can take your dog off the leash and let them play around which is nice.

I use to drive to Mission Peak every weekend based on the intensity and thrill of that hike. All until I discovered Wildcat with an equal intensity plus thrill fulfilled here. I enjoy how you can customize your outdoor gym on this trail. There are many entrances and routes to take. Whether hiking, cycling, walking, running…it’s a trail for all ages. Plenty of rest stops, gorgeous views, inclines if you’re looking for them. You’ll encounter wildlife of cows, horses, hares, deer, birds, snakes, coyotes and goats too. It’s a new adventure every time.

A very fun hiking experience with good hills, amazing views of San Francisco and the Bay Area, as well as an abundant natural environment. Cows 🐄
