Nice little park somewhat off the beaten path. Beautiful grove of trees, firepit, picnic area, and creek access with a nice creek area. Downside is not very mobility challenged accessible as you have to park in gravel, the. Walk like 400 yards through gravel, then through grass.

I enjoyed exploring this area. It is relatively small with wooded area along Wildcat creek. There are fields adjacent to the park. This is a great spot for bird watching!

For what it is I like it! I went into it thinking it had 400 yards of trail not 400 yards of just total area from parking to campground. Creek is really nice and cool. Would recommend if you come through manhattan to at least stop in and walk down and check out the camp area.

Typically a peaceful retreat, although it's small and can get busy at times.

A great park but needs some POISON IVY maintenance! Over the years my family and I have enjoyed coming to this little, out-of-the-way park - going for walks, camping, and exploring around the creek. Unfortunately, it seems that maintenance has not been able to keep poison ivy under control - not only the sides of the park BUT IN THE MAIN AREA that is mowed (the tree grove)...POISON IVY is EVERYWHERE. This alone makes the park completely unusable for people with moderate to severe allergies to this plant. Here's to hoping that management will attend to this detail so that people can continue to enjoy this park.
