Beautiful trails, plenty of places to park and have a picnic with family. Definitely a must visit for hikers and/or outdoorsmen. There is a public bathroom and portable bathrooms. Bring water!

This place is a nice place to hike a steep and scenic climb right close to the city. The trail can get crowded on weekends, but there are multiple trailheads here to spread the crowds out. The main thing here is the Vital Link Trail, which is steep but a switchbacky easy workout.

I came in from Wildwood Canyon Park, and i hiked to the Vital Link Trail, and i hiked to Verdugo Peak. This is a hard difficulty hike, please bring 1 full gallon of water if you plan on doing the full 6 mile hike. Plenty of parking and restrooms are at the entrance of the park. -August 17, 2025

Underrated hiking gem by the Glendale area away from noise pollution. If taking the Vital Link trail, prepare for calves and heart conditioning for the next 10-90 minutes. Great views of the Los Angeles valley.

Incredible hike ! only 1.85 miles , but straight up !! bring lots of water , even if you start early the south facing slope is unforgiving! The moutain will make you ear the views !! enjoy!
