You might see me way out there with bright cheap orange sunglasses on. Way out in the bushes. As being in the military has taught. "Sometimes you need to make your own calm." Find yours and if your looking for a great walking normal trails with family-friendly areas you are in luck. And a calisthenics area. I see you Toledo Metro. Lets go.

Beautiful park with trails and a lovely covered bridge on the east side of the park. A large gazebo is on the northeast side of the park with a gorgeous view and seating area

Well maintained trails. Beautifully landscaped around the visitor center. I don't usually recommend public restrooms but it is impressive how the restrooms in the former stable have been made to look like a stable. The window on wildlife today provided viewing of two turkeys who stopped by for a free lunch. Rough blazing star beginning to bloom on the Grasslands Trail. Joe pye weed and ironweed in bloom along the Meadows Loop. (August 21, 2025)

We went to the manor house early December. Beautiful all around in and out. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful, they had help with parking and even had a cart available to carry some from their car to the house.

Really nice park with many different trails and mostly covered with trees so ideal for warm summer days to cool off. With the breeze and a cooler climate in the woods. Also nice resting areas and lots of playgrounds. They also have tours for the mansion. Nice flowered around the buildings. And amazing and clean toilets.
