An amazing number of trails, and this time of year is good because everything is green, and wildflowers are starting up. Most people go out on the wide main trail, but the best flowers are on some of the side trails that are a bit more vigorous but less crowded

Amazing convenient hiking trail complete with picnic areas, streams, elevation gain/loss, and a WATERFALL!! Did you even know they had those here in Ventura County? Look no further, get your booty down to Paradise Falls in Wildwood Regional Park and check it out for yourself. Pretty sweet loop trail with some interesting wildlife if you go when visitors are sparse. Always better (and safer) with a friend or pet, and sunrise is optimal!

This park was really nice for a relaxed, easy hike. We went down to the waterfall and back out with minimal effort. There is a bit of elevation but it is gradual in my opinion. Out and back was about three miles with only about 650 feet of elevation gain. The waterfall was pretty and the views along the way were lovely. I believe there are also some trails with greater difficulty, but we were on limited time so didn't explore further.

The hiking here is nice. Paradise falls is gorgeous, but this area is definitely not recommended during the summertime.

Beautiful trails and hiking spot. Came here on a whim to see Paradise Falls, wound up taking the full 4.6 mile trek to Lizard Rock. Recommend bringing plenty of water, comfortable shoes thay have traction, and about 3-4 hours of free time.
