It was so pretty! I'm excited to visit here late spring or early summer. When the colors pop out more Very peaceful and enjoyable to walk. Safe as well, there was a lot of interesting history that I never acknowledged before. We stopped here to kill sometime while waiting for a passport Check it out if you're in the area!

Very nice park to walk in, asphalt paths, one goes up a hill to the top where wind spinners are and overlooks Lake Erie. A small sand beach but we still found small pieces of beach glass there! Water was crystal clear, but no swimming allowed because of high bacteria content. Beautiful place to walk, ride a bike, go fishing, or have a picnic at.

The Wilkenson Pointe location has been significantly improved with the addition of the Perro & Pony restaurant, a new patio, more Adirondack chairs, and volleyball courts. There are also new walking and biking trails, a kayak launch, and a park golf course (added fees for golf, kayak/bike rentals), which features oversized clubs and balls that are fun for everyone. Parking is somewhat limited near the facility. There are about two dozen parking spaces, including handicap and EV charging stations. While these are great upgrades, the overall waterfront development has been slow. There's so much potential for further improvement in the underutilized surrounding area.

One of the most beautiful places along the buffalo waterfront. The attached photos are of the large marble remnants of the facade of the original M&T bank main office/branch. This is a great place to spend time walking around enjoying the scenery. There's also a kayak launch and a place to rent.
