Off in the far west corner is the wall/concrete bench that has pieces of tile and pottery set into it, some with inscriptions. This wall is one of the very last remnants of old Berkeley, hippie Berkeley, free love Berkeley--I helped make the wall with many others that day it was made. The park itself is eh', but does have bathrooms and blue portable latrines, a playground, and a policeman showing up in a patrol car withing minutes whenever I go there. I've heard a homeowner across the street knows someone on the police force or something and calls in whenever a suspicious type of person shows up--I guess that's me.

It is not the biggest part in Berkeley but it has a very decent and clean playground feo my toddler. There are tons of activities for her and toys to use. She enjoys playing on the sand and in the see saw. Nice place to spend an afternoon with kids. Parking was easy during the weekend. And it is close to a CVS and restaurants in Telegraph Avenue.

Neighborhood park that’s well kept and accessible. With a few mature trees, tennis courts, kids play structures, this park is a gem in Berkeley.

And beautiful Park with lots of green grass and new clubrooms and toilets. A great place to relax in the sun or play with the children in the playground.
