Living down the way from this park for a few years, just went for the first time. It is surprisingly bigger than expected. I really did not think it went past the dog park because it is pretty much smack dab in the middle of a neighborhood. Playground has been updated and is a cool setup but, also somewhat strange lol. I would like to see them put in like a small 6 basket disc golf course in there. But overall pleasantly surprised to see that so close. Will visit more often. Though I will say, probably a place that should have more constant patrol

Water fountain, plenty of room to run, picnic benches under the heaviest shade and OH YEAH THE 0.35mi OF MULCHED TRAILS IN FENCED WOODS. This park does not have separate areas for large and small dogs. The whole park is fenced but if your dog's a jumper the fences probably aren't high enough (same fencing as horse farms) Does your dog play well with other dogs? Does your dog need to run zoomies through the underbrush? Bring your dog here. Does your dog "sometimes" become "aggressive" or "a jerk"? Go to a trainer because nobody likes dog fights & this park is too awesome to ruin.

My dog Lucio has quickly learned to love this place and has even managed to make good friends with the majority of other dogs at the park. I have only visited durning the morning hours due to work but every visit has been pleasant. I do hear however that the park gets crazy towards the afternoons but for the most part the park is well maintained and as long as you don't mind the occasional dog lick or jump you'll be fine.

Great place to take your pet and to be off-leash. Has a fenced in walking trail that any dog would go crazy for exploring. Mine came across a bigger version of himself (Irish Wolfhound)
