Always Love coming here to walk with my family. Thoisnot Park has fishing, dog park, skateboard park, baseball/softball field, playground and a gorgeous lake to look at with lots a ducks that you can feed. They have feeders that are a quarter for a handful almost that you can give to the ducks.

It is always nice if you have a place where dogs can socialize and play with each other. Most owners follow the rules, some don't (apparently they cannot read or they simply don't care). Over the years, plenty of dogs came through, even "out-of-towners". Every visitor praised the park as one of the nicest parks they have ever been. Quite a few dogs stop by on the way through North Carolina.

We’ve been to dog parks all over the country, literally. This is one of the nicest we’ve seen! They pretty much thought of everything. Picnic tables, shade canopies, and even little pools. 10/10!

This park is clean, organized, and very well maintained. Even during hot days, lots of trees and shade areas will help both people and pets. I recommend even if you don’t have a dog and just want to go for a walk. They have restrooms close to the dog area, benches facing the lake, playground for kids. Great place to have fun with the entire family.

Has a little trail. Great for a little walk. Small playground too.
