It's one of my children's favorite parks, because the youngest loves to go and build in the sandbox And the older kids play with their balls; it's very peaceful, you can sit and spend hours there. There are also tennis courts, slides, and swings. I recommend it.
Cool little park! Nice modern playground equipment, kinda themed around Outer Space stuff. Has a large sandbox with lots of play toys already in it for kids to play with! Is in the middle of a bunch of trees, snd tennis courts. The playground has multiple slides, a tunnel, a bouncy bridge, a mountain rock to climb, and monkey bar ring handles to climb and swing on! Fun place for kids in Chapel Hill!
It’s a very nice park. Lots of trees. There are spaces to sit and have lunch. There’s a playground and sand box for kids, also tennis courts for those who enjoy playing tennis and trails for those who enjoy running, walking or bird watching. Most importantly, the park isn’t located facing the big road. It’s in residential area, so it’s safer for kids.
Small but mighty, Wilson Park packs an amenity punch with well-lit tennis courts, paved greenway, mature tree canopy, green space, playground, and shelter with grills. The best feature, however, is the network of forest trails that connects to Carolina North Forest - somewhat of a hidden gem.
This place is very good for the kid to go. Nice park. Also have a trail . My family have fun. Here are some pic
