Not the greatest dog park in terms of facilities, but very good. People gather there around 5:00 p.m. most weekdays. The park represents a good reuse of land that can't be used for anything else and so should be applauded. It would be nice if the city would come reinvest in updating it and repairing the paint and other things that are already fading.

I loved how secluded this park was, but hated more things than others. The water spouts did not work and there was not enough sun to help dry up the muddy areas (which is almost everywhere), the parking situation was also pretty confusing since the place it tells you to arrive at is the area where they do not want you to park. There was no sign mentioning where to go for parking or that there is another entrance to the fenced in area. When you arrive it looks like the place is closed, especially with the no parking signs and gate chained up and locked. I think if the no parking area had a sign with a map showing people how to get to the parking area, that might help out a lot. Other than that be prepared to give your pups a bath when they get home and bring plenty of water.

There are two separate fenced in dog park areas. One for smaller dogs and one for larger. Both have a few pieces of agility equipment. Both have a water spigot and bucket which is great for the dogs! In a quiet neighborhood with plenty of shade. Also has a little playground next to it and a walking path around it.

The dog park appears to be closed. Keyed lock on the gate and no parking signs in the parking area. Found the entrance to the dog pen but keeping an eye on the car.

Watson had a nice time at the park. There's running water for doggies to drink as well as some agility activities to climb or go through. All the dogs he met were friendly. It's a nice park... We'll come back.
