Not bad: -small fenced in area for the dogs. -Location was kind of weird as it was right next to the highway but the street itself is a hair pin dead end. -Big critique is that theres not a double gate entrance and also the gate doesn't latch securely. Overall good enough place to stop to let a little energy out

Great place to take the dogs got small dogs and everyone there has dogs that are great at socializing with other dogs and people that have dogs a little to overwhelmed stay outside the fence and are respectful and understanding of the other dogs and how there dogs are great place to meet people and let dogs play and have a good area with not a lot of holes and if some not deep. Bring water for your dogs or dog.

Nice size park. Should have double gate for more security. Does have a couple bowls for water, but no water hose to fill them. I will bring my dog back there, but this park definately needs more to it for security for dogs as well as humans. A lady had her young child at the little park. He ran to the dog park opened the gate and ran in leaving the gate open. Then she yelled at one of 2 dogs, "IF YOU HURT MY KID ILL KICK YOU IN YOUR DAMN TEETH!" Good thing the dog was just playing, but there really needs to be a double gate for these reasons.

A good sized park, was only recently changed to a dog park. I believe that the change came when Houska park was designated as a homeless camp. Perhaps the fine citizens of LA Crosse felt unsafe using the park facilities adjacent to the homeless camp. Wittenberg Park is quiet and out of the way. With plenty of space for your dog to run. There is ,a picnic area, a shelter, and an out house.

People don't clean up after their dogs, and the park is in a terrible location. You can listen to the trains and highway traffic while avoiding landmines.
