Visited here to check out the Pollinator Habitat hosted by the West Hartford Garden Club. Was a nice visit, collaborative, and educational.

Wolcott Park is a fantastic recreational spot that has quickly become one of my favorite places to spend time outdoors. The park features 6 to 8 well-maintained pickleball courts, which are almost always lively with friendly players of all levels. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned player, it’s a great place to jump into a game or practice your skills. In addition to pickleball, the park also has 4 full-size tennis courts that are in excellent condition. The courts are surrounded by trees and greenery, offering a peaceful and scenic backdrop while you play. The entire park is beautifully landscaped, with wide open green spaces, walking paths, and shaded areas perfect for relaxing or having a picnic. It feels safe, clean, and welcoming—ideal for families, fitness enthusiasts, or anyone just looking for a breath of fresh air. Wolcott Park is a true local treasure, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, active, and visually beautiful outdoor space.

Wolcott Park is a 28 acre park located in West Hartford, CT. There are tennis & pickle ball courts, little league field, soccer & athletic fields, basketball courts, playground, splash pad, boardwalk, trails, picnic tables, and nature preserve. If you like being outdoors, this is the perfect spot to enjoy it. There are two parking lots. I parked by the playground and splash pad. There was a porta potty there. The playground had swings, a sandbox, and a playscape. There is a large pond and a short boardwalk that goes through a nature preserve. There is a short paved trail in the middle of the park. There were many picnic tables and benches throughout. I'm betting this is a great spot to go sledding during the winter since there are many hills there. Overall, a nice park and my family and I enjoyed it.

Really nice park with a small playground and splash pad that are both fenced in so your child can’t run off. The playground is designed for younger children through early elementary. There’s a nice shady picnic area next to the playground. There are also baseball, basketball and soccer fields along with a snack bar. There are restrooms by the splash pad. There’s parking by the fields and another lot by the playground.

Absolutely beautiful park. Little League field is a show piece and the basketball, tennis, and pickleball courts are excellent. West Hartford can certainly be proud of this park.
