Optimal location of this open space park, conveniently located by the 55 Freeway, Chapman Av. and the paved portion of the Santiago Creek Bike Trail. I may stop here to take a break from riding for a few minutes. I’ve also seen medical personnel and guests here from the facilities across the street on their breaks. It’s a good place to stop off for a workout, picnic and restroom stop. Most of all, it’s two parks in one, featuring the Orange Dog Park Association enclosures. Seeing the dogs play is the highlight of my visit! I’m missing the shade trees here, providing cover on sunny days and helping to deflect some of the nearby road noise. It’s a work in progress with a visible tree planting program. This place could be considered a roadside park, while functioning as a neighborhood park. Though it’s plus’s appealing to non-residents in passing may be negatives as a neighborhood park. It may be possible to get used to it, tho I’m likely to move on after my short stop!

Separate small and large dog areas. Reasonable size park for small dogs. Lots of seating. A little bit of shade. No water fountain in the park but there is a washroom with a fountain just outside the pet entrance. Fairly busy when I was there.

Wonderful park. My dog always gets filthy, but that is because she is having so much fun. My toddler, our dog, and I go just about every single morning so we see regulars whom are very nice.

Our first time taking our pup to this park... we were very nervous.. there was a gentleman who helped us understand how it goes.. we're first time dog owners.. it was such a great experience.. we are very thankful to the man, he eased our nervousness..
