What dog owners are saying
Recent review snippets help visitors gauge vibe, upkeep, and who each park suits best.
This is a really great park in the heart of Lake Havasu City. Right on the water, beach access with covered picnic tables. Fantastic children's playgrounds, walking paths, and views of the lake. Walking path that is great for wheelchairs all the way to the London Bridge. Great area to view the hot air balloons from during the festival.
Read more about Rotary Community Park & PlaygroundsMy GSD loves it there, plenty of room, wonderful shade providing trees. Other dog owners are very respectful and the place is well maintained.
Read more about Lions Dog ParkA very nice dog park, beautiful trees and walking path. 2 separate areas for large and small dogs. Some people don’t know how to pick up after their dogs- scoop the poop! That’s not the parks fault though- it’s well maintained otherwise.
Read more about SARA Park Dog ParkCould be a great park if it weren't for the few people who treat everyone else like they own it. Took my small dogs here and after a couple minutes, a lady with 2 off leash large breeds known for being mean yelled at us saying "you're gonna wanna get those dogs outta there he doesn't like small dogs!" So if you have a large dog that doesn't like small dogs but you come here and see small dogs enjoying their time, take your big mean dog somewhere else. Completely unfair of anyone to expect accomodations to their inability to control their dog that they failed to train properly. Only got to enjoy the park for maybe five minutes because one stuck up c-word.
