Newtown Park is truly the crown jewel of Johns Creek—it offers something spectacular for every age and interest, making it an essential community gathering spot. The highlights for us are the incredible amenities. The Newtown Dream Dog Park is easily one of the best in the state (and was recently ranked highly by USA Today!), featuring artificial turf, water features, and separate areas for small and large dogs to play safely. For humans, the two miles of walking trails are perfect for a scenic stroll or run, and the sheer number of courts—from tennis and basketball to bocce and six dedicated pickleball courts—means there's always an athletic activity to jump into. Beyond sports, the park serves the whole community beautifully. You have the Veterans Memorial Walk for quiet reflection and the Mark Burkhalter Amphitheater for hosting fun events like the Summer Concert Series. With excellent playgrounds for kids and the Park Place Senior Center nearby, it’s a space where multiple generations can enjoy the outdoors at the same time.
