Watch out for poison ivy
Read more about Fellsmere PondOne of the best parks I’ve ever seen. It has beautiful nature with tall trees and a tiny pond, nice hiking trails with overlook of city, abundant parking space, several playgrounds and fields to play soccer, etc, and a nice track for running or simply walking, with wide view. Very energetic and positive environment. I go there a few times a week.
Read more about Pine Banks ParkOne of my favorite places in Malden! The pond is beautiful with lovely fountains and a great walking path. The overlook is peaceful and a great place for a picnic. My only complaints are about people who carelessly feed the ducks and geese unhealthy things (bread!) which also mucks up the water, and people who litter. I would be so happy if our community put in the effort to bring bags and pick up trash as we walk since the city apparently doesn’t have the funding to keep up with the litterbugs.
Read more about Fellsmere ParkAmazing off leash dog park , big open green grass and space dedicated for your dogs. Bring your own water, there is a community tap but open only in summer. Well maintained and people are also mostly well behaved. Good for walking too inside the park with your dog off leash or outside in the trails. The road by the park allows only bikes not other vehicles making it safer for your dogs. There is also a small fenced area within the park if you want to separate the dogs.
