What dog owners are saying
Recent review snippets help visitors gauge vibe, upkeep, and who each park suits best.
My dog loves it there shouldn't be a sign for a small dog at this park to go into the bigger area. It will always be a dog park try and fight me on it she likes running around and so does everyone else's dog so.
Read more about Leonardo da Vinci ParkOkay, listen up humans: I padded into Smith Professional Agriculture with my tail high, nose twitching, and no leash dragging me down. Here’s how it went: 🌱 First Impressions - Wide open fields? Check. - Smells of fresh soil, hay, and possibility? Double check. - Humans in boots who actually know what they’re doing? Triple check. 🐕 Dog POV Highlights - Freedom Factor: Off-leash meant I could zigzag through rows of crops like a four-legged tractor. No one yelled, “Heel!”—instead, they smiled and said, “Good dog.” - Sniffability: Every corner had a new scent—fertilizer (meh), compost (yum), and the faint perfume of hardworking hands. - Hospitality: The staff didn’t just tolerate me; they gave me scratches behind the ears and let me supervise their soil samples. Clearly, they recognize canine expertise. 🌾 Professional Agriculture Vibe - Precision tools gleamed like chew toys I wasn’t allowed to touch. - Crop rows stood straighter than my tail when I spot a squirrel. - Efficiency everywhere—humans moving with purpose, like a pack that knows its mission. 🐾 Final Verdict Smith Professional Agriculture is basically the dog park of farming: structured, professional, but with enough freedom to let a pup roam. Off-leash approval granted. Tail wagging at maximum RPM.
Read more about Smith Vocational Agricultural FieldsThis dog park is located in a nice quiet area and is kept clean. There is a section for smaller dogs and one for larger dogs. The larger dog section has a lower and an upper level, with both dog friendly stairs as well as grassy hills connecting the the two levels. Each time we've visited this park we've had a great experience with the other dogs and people. Most importantly, our pup loves to visit this park.
Read more about Friends of South Hadley Dog ParkNice park, good-sized with grass in the open space and a lot of trees to provide shade in the far end of the park. There's is a nice pathway circling inside the park. Trash, bags, and water (although turned off for the season). The concrete pad at the entrance keeps the ground from getting muddy around the gates. Separate sections for large and small dogs. Interestingly, "small" is judged on weight and/or height at this park.
