I had a really nice visit to Fountain Park. The grounds were clean and peaceful, and the open space made it easy to enjoy a relaxed walk. The park feels welcoming for families and dog owners, and the overall atmosphere is calm and well maintained. It’s a pleasant spot to spend some time outdoors.

Stopped by Fountain Park (the small neighborhood spot in south Brooklyn, near Fountain Ave area) on a weekday afternoon. It's a basic city park with a playground, open grass, some benches, and a few trees for shade—nothing fancy, but functional for locals. The playground is decent for toddlers (swings, slides, climbing bars), and the area was clean enough with no major trash or broken equipment. Restrooms are available (though basic/portable style). Dog-friendly in the open space, but no dedicated off-leash area. Only 3 stars because it's pretty average—dated play structures, limited amenities (no splash pad, sports courts, or big fields), and it can feel a bit neglected compared to nicer parks nearby. Fine for a quick kid break or dog walk if you're in the neighborhood, but not worth going out of your way for.

Great place to socialize you pups. Lots of open space as well as wide shaded walking trails. Mostly all well behaved dogs during weekdays. I have seen some aggressive dogs and owners on the weekends but not common.

This is a really gorgeous park that is sadly overrun by the most entitled dog owners in the world. Signs say leash and clean up after your dog, and oh boy that is the opposite of what happens here. Dogs running around everywhere, dogs jumping up on you and chasing you around, and dog crap everywhere. It's really unfortunate how the selfish and entitled ruin things for everybody else.

Great big outdoor space to let your dogs run free. Being your own poop bags and water. There are water bowls there, just not sure how often they are changed or maintained.
