I usually go when I feel like there’s not a lot of people . I have two big dogs that need to get plenty of exercise and this park is the-best place to do that. I enjoy taking my dog to the dog park however he was attacked this past summer and has made him very reactive towards other dogs and people so I feel like this place is safe for me to take him there in the summertime. he loves the splash pad and now that it’s winter time, I let him run on the tennis courts at night when no one‘s there. The only thing I wish was that they had a lights cause it’s super dark in there that’s why I gave you three stars I live in Ludlow and there’s a dog park there but it’s surrounded by woods and wildlife and the walk from the parking lot to the actual park is quite farin your surrounded by woods so at least I can go to Hubbard Park and feel safer from wildlife and my dog still gets to be a dog and run around and be free

I spend a huge amount of time here with my dog Tyson. But I grew up in IO and this park has always been a go to spot. Either with my kids or for birthday parties, many functions. Let's all do our best to keep it that idyllic spot.

Been going here for years my grandfather built the brick patio and building for the city back in the 70s. It's still stands today. No graffiti or trash because the city does an amazing job keeping the place clean the only thing is they might have a tent or 2 in the woods for a homeless couple but they are very generous and kind as well.
