Beautiful trail system with mountain bike single track and miles of paved Greenway to bike, walk, or just sit and watch the river go by. Tons of really nice folks. You cant go wrong here. Give it a visit!
Read more about River Legacy ParksWell maintained park plenty of parking available. Overall felt safe. There was a playground area. Public restrooms and gazebo areas with grills that can be reserved. Hilly trail with nice paved walkways. Plenty of benches to sit on around the trail. The trail is about 1.5 miles round trip. Definately a great jog for cardio.
Read more about Veterans ParkKelley park is full of nature scenery and it connects with the Clarence Foster Park. There is a couple of benches. No official picnic area or trash bins. No water fountains or grilling area. No public restrooms. I did see people like letting their dogs go leash less. Over all Great for a dog walk. We got to see a blue bonnet flower. Plenty of squirrels running free since there is plenty of pecan trees on site!
Read more about Kelley ParkA nice little park right behind the Arlington Library and right in front of the entrance to the Arlington Museum of Art, so there's some sculptures nearby and in the park itself. There's a lot of benches, chairs, and tables to enjoy a potential picnic, especially since there are so many food options nearby, as well as some interesting concrete architecture that also can act as a seat; shady trees complete the park scene and also contribute its picnic friendly nature. Sometimes there are small events held in the park, such as Takeout Tuesday.
