What dog owners are saying
Recent review snippets help visitors gauge vibe, upkeep, and who each park suits best.
Nice park, good turnout for dogs. There are mildly poisonous mushrooms scattered around and several areas where ants are prominent. My dog has personally been hospitalized due to an allergic reaction to ant bites, I have to observe him here extra carefully to make sure it doesn’t happen again. Called and left a message to the maintenance people for the park to be made aware and got no response and no solution.
Read more about Hound Mound Dog ParkThis is a good size dog park split into a much larger area for big dogs vs small dogs. We like how big and reliably grassy it is- so plenty of room for my high energy pup to run and roll on! None of the wood chip or rock nonsense that isn’t fun to run and play on! But watch out for poopies because there are lots that don’t get picked up by owners. Doggies tend to be older and more senior in age at this park or come in pairs so my active 14 month old Goldendoodle doesn’t always have high energy friends who aren’t territorial to play with. The park clears out by 9-10 am here so come early if you want friends to play with! Shade and seating is limited.
