Beautiful dog park just south of Oregon. With two separate fenced in areas for large and small dogs, there's ample room to run and play while enjoying a long walk around the park's perimeter. Enjoyable any season.

Nice gravel trails go thru a prairie with a mowed grass trail on the perimeter. There is a mowed area in the middle for play with your dog. Prairie is full of native flowers in spring and summer and the prairie grasses take over as fall returns. There is a small dog area fenced off too but no prairie, just mowed grass. Be sure to buy a permit and leash your pet while in the parking area. Today I spotted Culver's root, Black eyed Susan and bee balm. Lots of rattlesnake master among everything else

This is a beautiful and well maintained park in a serene prairie setting. Its large, wide open design prevents overcrowding, thereby reducing the risk of hostile interactions - human and canine alike😁! The crushed gravel walking paths keep your boots and paws mud free, and Anderson Farm apparently attracts a better class of park goers, who keep the place poop free too! The only thing missing, and the sole reason I don't give it five stars, is that there is no wooded space to provide relief from the sun and wind. Overall, it's a fantastic place for you and your best friend to get some exercise. In my not very humble opinion, it's a very close second to Verona's Prairie Moraine Park.

We always make a stop out here for our two little dogs After they're grooming to use the restroom. The word dogs are licensed. We do not go inside any of the gated areas

My dog loves it as there are lots of trails & places to explore. Would love a few more benches, especially in shade. A great respite for dogs & owners. Thank you Dane County Parks!!
