What dog owners are saying
Recent review snippets help visitors gauge vibe, upkeep, and who each park suits best.
We have been to several private dog parks in the area. This is the best one if you are looking for a fun, private, safe place to take your dogs to play. It feels fully secluded and private. Such a great option for our 2 dogs (one of which is reactive). Even the parking area is blocked off and can't be seen from inside the private dog park. Such a good space with beautiful trees, fun things for the dogs to climb on, and plenty of toys. They have a shaded area with a bench which is so nice if you need a break from the sun. There are also a couple other benches around the park. They have a couple agility things set up and a hose and water bowl. They were very thoughtful when setting this all up. We will be back very soon!
Read more about Good Dog Unleashed Private ParkOwners Lisa & Jake are kind, hardworking, good people who run this business as a labor of love for the local dog community. I took my dog to a dock diving “try it” event at Doggieland and we were all surprised to learn she was a complete natural at dock diving. My dog then went on to shine in an AKC/NADD dock diving event. We would never have gotten into the sport without Doggieland! If you have a dog - big or small - stop in. This is a local small business owned by good, honest people. Know that visiting and supporting them you’re supporting our friends on the east side! We need more fun things like this in Madison! *Pro-tip: call them if you have questions. They will work with you!

Read more about Lawn of God Dog-friendly Green SpaceThis is one of the largest very well maintained dog parks in Dane county! I go once a week, at least! My dog loves it, and it's a great walk with a fun feeling! There are so many trees and fields and paths that your dog gets to enjoy so much more than the ones that are just open field. Plus, it's so large that it can take about 40 minutes to walk the fence line! Well, with water breaks and play times. 😉 It's definitely what makes the yearly dog park pass worth the $45. But there is a day rate, I think it's like $8. Plus, there is a solid amount of parking and a permanent restroom.
