This is one of the largest very well maintained dog parks in Dane county! I go once a week, at least! My dog loves it, and it's a great walk with a fun feeling! There are so many trees and fields and paths that your dog gets to enjoy so much more than the ones that are just open field. Plus, it's so large that it can take about 40 minutes to walk the fence line! Well, with water breaks and play times. 😉 It's definitely what makes the yearly dog park pass worth the $45. But there is a day rate, I think it's like $8. Plus, there is a solid amount of parking and a permanent restroom.

So worth the trip across town! Such a big park, about 1.75 miles if you walk around the entire perimeter. Dog waste bins in the back corner of the park so you don’t have to carry the doggy bag the whole time, a restroom is available, well kept, we have a blast every time!

Beautiful park with lots of scenic paths to choose from. Great for taking longer walks with your dog. Walking the perimeter alone will take about 40-60 minutes. Shorter, inner paths also exist and there are many opportunities to switch paths along the way. The only downside is there is not much of a "gathering" area if you want your dog to have a chance to play and run around with other dogs

Large park with open meadow, trees, some scrubby little woods. You can get a decent 45 minute easy hike around the perimeter while your pup enjoys some off leash romping and sniffing. Usually incident-free; be careful at the gate area where dogs can clump up and not all owners are mindful. Good open spaces to practice your recall.

Best dog park in the area—good prairie land restoration, helpful facilities, enjoyable views, ample parking, a restroom, and decent number of benches. The mosquitoes this summer are kinda brutal though so maybe bring a face net and wear long clothes that cover your skin. Your dog will appreciate it here.
