Campground was nice and clean with spacious spots. Dog park was amazing. Large open fenced area with path to walk. You can't see the other the other side of park. Our dogs had a blast.

Capital Springs State Recreation has several parts you can visit. I went to the park down by the boat dock and walked around the trails for 3 miles and never came across another person. The trails go into the woods and along a field. There are several other parks nearby as well.

Seems like nice park. Bathroom clean and big. Pulled in last night, but as i have shore power, there is mo h2o at the sites. I saw dump station pulling in. Visited this park a couple years ago. Very pretty grasslands. But, as with all the wisconsin State parks, imho, over priced by a little. 27.00 a night is high. Maybe 25.00 would be more in line. Oh well...ok, found water hookups. Still not worth 27.00.

Large dog park with clear walking paths. For size reference, you would not be able to see your dog if they dash to the other end of the park. There's only 2 trash cans for pet waste around the park so be prepare to carry the goods for a while. Water is well stocked by kind visitors and there is a tennis ball library with a few balls in it.

Great bike trails and short walk through a meadow filled with flowers. Unique tree at Heritage center- combined white oak and burr oak.
