Owners Lisa & Jake are kind, hardworking, good people who run this business as a labor of love for the local dog community. I took my dog to a dock diving “try it” event at Doggieland and we were all surprised to learn she was a complete natural at dock diving. My dog then went on to shine in an AKC/NADD dock diving event. We would never have gotten into the sport without Doggieland! If you have a dog - big or small - stop in. This is a local small business owned by good, honest people. Know that visiting and supporting them you’re supporting our friends on the east side! We need more fun things like this in Madison! *Pro-tip: call them if you have questions. They will work with you!

My doggo is 9 yrs old (border collie lab mix) he got some arthritis and has back nerve damage. We have to take it easy on him so swimming is perfect activity for him. We are so grateful for Doggieland Play Park Pool! My pup has lost weight, built muscle strength and he is loving his weekly time playing fetch in the pool! Thank you for everything you do! We highly recommend checking out Doggieland Play Park and Pool!

Finally, a place in the Madison area where dogs can swim year-round! Whether it’s for therapy, learning new skills -- dock diving, or just burning off energy, this Olympic-sized indoor pool is perfect! The owner/trainer is super attentive and makes sure every dog is comfortable and safe, taking time to help them get familiar with the pool’s entry and exit while evaluating their swimming skills. You can tell they really care about each pup’s experience. ❤️ After waiting so long for something like this, we now have a clean, warm spot to escape the cold, avoid muddy lakes, and let our pups have fun and build confidence indoors. All about happy, tired pups! Go check it out! 🐕💦

Wonderful business that has MOVED to a new location. Please visit them at 4233 W Beltline Hwy, Madison, WI 53711. They've tried to inform Google that this location is permanently closed and I've tried to as a customer. Idk why it doesn't update, but it caused me to show up here for my first appointment. I want to make sure others are aware. Fantastic business. Just not located here anymore!

Amazing staff and great facilities! My dog has been with me for just over a year, he was with my Mom for about six years before that and hadn’t ever been swimming in those 7-8 years of his life. (He was around two years old when she got him from the Humane Society - so maybe he had been in water 8 years ago.) He was hesistant to get into the water, and I was ready to let him dislike the idea and leave. But… his instructor was kind and patient and got my buddy swimming within minutes and showed us all that my buddy can swim and loves it! After we passed our “evaluation” to show that he can swim safely, which took maybe five minutes with staff coaxing Tucker into the water… we got to have “free swim” with just me and my dog alone with the entire pool and can have “free swim” anytime we want in the future! My only regret is that I paid for a one time pass, when it’s more economical to buy the multi-passes, but I wasn’t sure if we’d want to go more than once. Now I know that we’ll be back!
