I recently spent some time at Animas Park and wanted to share my experience. While Animas Park isn't as developed as Berg Park, it has its own charms. The park offers excellent views of the Animas River. A good gravel walking path with mile markers makes it easy to navigate and enjoy the surroundings. Walking paths connect both Berg Park and Animas Park. I observed a variety of wildlife. Deer were frequently seen, and there were many prairie dogs. Be cautious while walking as some areas of the park are covered with prairie dog holes. It’s important to watch your step. Compared to Berg Park, Animas Park feels more natural and less manicured. It's a good spot for those looking for a quieter and more rugged park experience with nice river views.

We absolutely love coming here to walk! There's always lots of wildlife and the river is beautiful. The main trails are well kept for walking or running, or you can walk through the trees on any of the wildlife trails. There are bridges to cross, a couple of playgrounds to play on, and a Veterans Memorial Park to check out as well. The Nature Center is also a great place to take your kids. We love Animas Park! ❤

Amazing day @ RiverFest! So much fun on the river. Clean. Relaxing. And most of all...family oriented!

Beautiful park to visit and walk the trails. Deer and geese can sometimes be seen in the area. Fall colors are amazing here.
