What dog owners are saying
Recent review snippets help visitors gauge vibe, upkeep, and who each park suits best.
I recently spent some time at Animas Park and wanted to share my experience. While Animas Park isn't as developed as Berg Park, it has its own charms. The park offers excellent views of the Animas River. A good gravel walking path with mile markers makes it easy to navigate and enjoy the surroundings. Walking paths connect both Berg Park and Animas Park. I observed a variety of wildlife. Deer were frequently seen, and there were many prairie dogs. Be cautious while walking as some areas of the park are covered with prairie dog holes. It’s important to watch your step. Compared to Berg Park, Animas Park feels more natural and less manicured. It's a good spot for those looking for a quieter and more rugged park experience with nice river views.
Read more about Animas ParkThis was my dog's first time at a dog park, they loved it! I was worried about them around other dogs, but there was only one scuffle, then they became friends. The park was well taken care of. There is a walking track for owners, picnic tables, benches, owners cleaned up after their dogs, and the grass was nice and soft.
Read more about Saddleback ParkGreat park! Love the environment and quality of the park. Most of the time the people visiting are responsible and respectful. There is a scenic walking trail along the river and a fenced in area for large dogs as well as a smaller fenced in area for smaller dogs and puppies. Also a playground and picnic area and basketball court.
