Baxter Bog is a wonderful place for an afternoon walk or morning run. Depending on where you start, there is ample parking. Baxter Bog is a very peaceful park where it is easy to escape the city vibes of Anchorage. My dog and I thoroughly enjoy our walks and runs here throughout the year.

We came in the winter, and it was breathtaking. The walking path that goes around the frozen pond was gorgeous. It's a peaceful winter wonderland in the middle of Anchorage!

A quick walk around but so much nature it's beautiful to walk with your little ones.

Wonderful area of town to experience nature and wildlife. Always find myself escaping to this little oasis ✨️ Easy access to Baxter Elementary playground and you'll encounter plenty of off leash dogs. In the Spring/Summer months beware of the mosquitoes. While bug repellent helps, it is quite the battle when walking through certain areas.
