Beautiful park Used to fish, bike, run around the green space and even go sledding in winter. Sad they took alot of the green space away but they did add a playground and put in ball fields.

We did the paved walkway long the brook. The brook not moving to fast...but still enjoying.

A beautiful park designed in the 1880s by the father of landscape architecture - Frederick Law Olmsted - someone I had studied in school almost 30 years ago. It was very busy. It is worth visiting again and again.

I grew up spending a lot of time at Beardsley Park...swimming, playing tennis, playing baseball, sled riding in the winter, going to the zoo, visiting the haunted house and Christmas village as well as riding my bike. Very happy memories! After visiting the park after 25 years there are things I like and some not so much...I wish the tennis courts were still there, there is a road closed that takes you to the end of the park that should be opened, port a potties would be nice, food trucks would be great. I do like the addition of playgrounds, picnic tables, bigger sidewalks and the swans, ducks and geese that hang out.

One of the best parks in Bridgeport that doesn't get enough credit. It has playgrounds, baseball fields, open spaces, and little fishing spots. There's even a zoo that we don’t support enough. Also, I’m a photographer—feel free to follow me on Instagram: @mr.3verything 📸
