Read more about Beardsley ParkWhat a beautiful place! This park is very well maintained and nestled inside Roosevelt Forest. It features large fenced in areas for dogs to play off leash. Including a spacious separate area for small dogs. Each time I've been there, my dog and I were greated by friendly dogs and their kind owners. The owners are very attentive to their pups, making sure the dogs are getting along well with one another. As long as the dog is friendly, all breeds and ages are welcome! Bowls of fresh water are available for the dogs. Free poop bags are hung by the trash cans, making for easy cleanup. Jared's has plenty of benches for the owners to sit and relax in the shade while they're watching their dogs play. There's even an agility course set up for ambitious pups! I've been to dog parks all over Connecticut with my pup, and Jared's is by far my (and my dog's) favorite! I highly recommend it. 🤗🧡
Read more about Jared's Dog ParkThis park is going to shit. Previously only one gate was messed up, now they’re all messed up which is a safety risk. It’s one of the few decent sized fenced dog parks in the area but for some reason there’s rarely anyone here, and people aren’t picking up their dogs poop so now you gotta look out for land mines too. Do better. From now on I’ll be making the trek to better parks.
