Good dog park, sloped so not muddy!
Read more about New Fairfield Dog ParkTerrific park to visit with plenty of parking spaces with some picnic tables nearby, the park is very clean and well maintained with several different games/ activities to enjoy. The trails and not too difficult to hike and the scenery is very good , definitely worth recommending to anyone looking for a place to visit.
Read more about Bear Mountain ReservationThis is a great park with a paved walkway that is about a half mile long with a lot of different stretching areas along the way with some small benches to sit on and relax.the park also has restrooms and an area for your dogs, they also have a playground with picnic tables and a volleyball field and even a basketball court. There is also a very large parking area and there is always a place to park.
Read more about Meckauer ParkLarge mostly grassy space. Water fountains are available in the non-freezing seasons. Bags and trash available. There is also a water-spray feature for the warmer months. The small dog side has a long, narrow entrance "chute". Technically there is a requirement to get a park permit from animal control (separate sign from the rules sign), but everyone told me that it's mostly ignored. People and dogs were all very friendly.
