We have four young kids, and we'd like to be able to use this park, but the amount of off-leash dogs is insane. We've had dogs rush over to our kids, scare them, and in one instance knock them down.
When I talked to one dog owner whose dog was touching my kids that this is a on-leash park, she told me that it was not, that she's been coming for 10 years, and that everyone has their dogs off leash. When I pointed out the sign, she said that it was wrong, she insisted that it's an off-leash dog park, and that she's never seen it enforced.
Given the other comments in here about off-leash dogs, Salt Lake County needs to do one of the following:
1. Put up more signs and give out citations to dog owners whose dogs are off-leash. Or,
2. Change the signs to allow off-leash dogs and make it clear to families with kids that they should go somewhere else.
Letting the status quo continue will lead to conflicts between neighbors.

This is one of my favorite parks to take my dogs. There is also a very charming and ruggedly handsome man who frequently flies his drones here. What a friendly, charismatic, and brilliant individual. I love watching him fly those amazing contraptions. What a gift to the community.

Beautiful and peaceful. Great place for kids and dogs. The views are amazing. Horses and birds. If you’re lucky you might see a family of foxes. Play ground dog park and mountains

Horrible rude entitled people. I heard this was a good place to bring leashed dogs. Out of over 20 dogs we saw only 3 were on leash. Poop everywhere. Numerous dogs running around with no owner in site. Most owners had no control of thier dogs. The dog i had is scared of dogs/reactive and owners had no control of thier dogs. When asked for people to recall thier off leash dogs/or get thier off leash dog so the dog i had wouldn't get overwhelmed, they yelled and said ' if your dog isnt friendly with off leash dogs, leave it home ". Or " its your problem". Or just ignored me and kept walking, leaving me to deal with thier dogs. There are numerous signs that say " dogs must be on a leash at all times" people dont care. So many entitled, self centered rude law breaking owners at this park. Reactive/scared dogs have every right to be in public and live a fulfilled active life, just as much as "friendly " dogs. Thats why there are leash laws, so every dog, no matter the temperament, can enjoy leashed areas. Animal control needs to visit this park and ticket all the rude off leash dog owners. I have never been treated so rudely by owners of off leash dogs as I did at this park today. Absolutely horrible experience from entitled owners and out of control dogs.

I love this park, it’s relaxing and has great views of the mountains. There are also foxes in one section of the park and a vegetable garden which is not public but you can walk through it. This park feels like being out of the city, there are lots of good walking trails.
