Thank you so much for providing Ariel with SAFE and comfortable boarding. We have always been anxious about boarding her, and we have been so impressed by your amazing and reliable family owned kennel. Big Oaks is always thorough, flexible, and accommodating to our dog’s special needs. We rest easy while we are out of town knowing our beloved dog is in good hands. We travel a lot, and our schedule is constantly changing. Usually this would be a disaster for boarding but they always go above and beyond to be there for us, and our dog. We’ve had last minute flight changes multiple times now and they have taken her in early and kept her late, assuring us that she will be safe and cared for and causing us no additional stress while dealing with flight cancellations and other stressful life events. Our dog has also had some health issues recently and they go above and beyond accommodating to her special diet and other restrictions she has had while healing. They allow her to have her own bed and toys and watch her closely to ensure she is comfortable. No dog is perfect, and unlike other boarding facilities Big Oaks does not expect them to be. They listen to what YOUR dog needs!!! They also don’t leave your dog outside in the heat all day or force your dogs to play with other dogs for hours on end if your doggo is not feeling it or is overstimulated. They make sure your dog is having a good time based on individual needs, and actually watch and understand behavior of dogs. If you are looking for a reliable and caring family to look after your dog, can’t recommend them enough.

I always bring my dog here when I’m visiting the Austin area and they take such great care of her! I always worry when I have to board her because she’s a bit of an escape artist and gets extremely anxious when she is away from home. But everyone at Big Oaks is so friendly and helps her feel so comfortable! Thank you for taking such great care of my girl! I always know she’s in great hands with y’all!

I can't say enough good things about this dog boarding facility! I have three very energetic German Shorthaired Pointers and a little Chihuahua mix, and they absolutely love staying here. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming, but I have to give special kudos to the kennel manager, Rachael. She is a true professional and has such a special way with all the dogs. It’s obvious she really cares about the pets she looks after. My GSPs are a handful, always full of energy, and one of my them has severe anxiety. I’ve always been worried about how he’d do in a boarding situation, but Rachael and her team are incredible with him. They know exactly how to manage his anxiety, keeping him calm and comfortable during his stay. It’s such a relief to know that he’s in capable hands and that they’re attentive to his specific needs. They always make sure that the dogs get plenty of exercise and attention (which is hard for GSPs and their limitless energy lol). My little Chihuahua mix is always treated like royalty, and I can tell that all the dogs are treated like family here. The facilities are always clean, the dogs are well-cared for, and the communication is excellent. I love getting updates and pictures during their stay, which makes it easy to relax knowing they are in good hands. I truly feel confident leaving my dogs here every time I travel. Rachael's passion and care for the dogs make this place stand out from any other boarding facility I’ve used in the past. Highly recommend this place to any pet owner looking for top-notch care!
