The beach was really packed but it was a very hot day. Didn't like the algae in the water, I'd recommend water shoes. LOTS of seagulls (see video lol). But overall the kids enjoyed it and we made it work. I didn't know they also had a splash park here, added bonus and my kids also really liked the playground. I feel like everything could use a bit of an update. Many nests along the roof of the restroom building, little scary (see photo).

Bluebell is a beautiful spot and the Parks community have really made it family friendly. BUT I was out there with small kids and couldn't believe all the sand was covered in dog poop. Everywhere and I had to cut that short because who is going to tolerate that Filth.. Don't you have cameras to see who is letting their pets do this. Signs need to go up and no dogs allowed. I am posting so you can see its everywhere. Not to sure about the water as very small kids were in it.but that's on the parents. That is the inky thing negative otherwise a lovely place to take the kids .

If you have little kids this is the beach for you. Came for Treasures in the Sand and had so much fun. Genesee County Parks always does such a beautiful job with their events. The beach is gorgeous and clean, the play area and splashzone are also clean and a blast for little ones.

Beautiful beach area. Lots of parking. Very very clean. Nice access off the Flint River. Many smaller individual pavilions to sit at. Large pavilion with grills and nice bathrooms. Large play area.

Beautiful Spot for a Day Out in Nature! I had a wonderful time at Stepping Stone Falls in Michigan! The beach area was clean and well-maintained, with clear water and beautiful surroundings. We had lots of fun at the splash pad—it’s perfect for families with kids! The walking trails were peaceful and scenic, a great way to enjoy nature and unwind. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and fun outdoor experience!
