Bowen Station Park

Mediocre park that has a serious issue with homeless people and others using it as a place to smoke weed, drink, etc. I’m here now and once again there’s two people smoking weed right next to groups of toddlers. Disgusting.

I love walking the trails starting at Bowen Station until the end and back. Google marks it as 2.3 miles walking 🚶‍♀️

A park that is essentially just a playground and a pavilion but somehow doesn’t appear to be a safe place to bring your kids. During our most recent mid day visit my kids couldn’t use the slide due to someone passed out sleeping on it (one of several people sleeping amongst the playground equipment) and we witnessed obvious drug use and selling in the parking lot and bathroom.

Nestled discreetly amidst the urban hustle and bustle of 44th street, there's a charming little park that has become our cherished retreat during the midday rush. My wife and I have established a comforting ritual of pausing there for lunch, savoring moments of tranquility amid the frenzy of our workday. It's a slice of serenity where we can momentarily disconnect from the demands of our schedules and reconnect with each other amidst the simple beauty of nature.

Super duper sketchy. I didn't even get out of my car because there were no kids and several cars with lone men in them. One man actually motioned for me to leave, so I'm assuming something might have been going down. We immediately left because I felt very unsafe.
